Welcome to Gololu. These terms govern your use of our platform, whether as a learner, a host, or a venue partner. By creating an account, booking a session, or listing a session, you agree to these terms.
1. Using the platform
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Gololu account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for any activity that happens under your account.
2. Hosting sessions
Hosts are independent contractors, not employees of Gololu. You're responsible for the safety of your sessions, the suitability of your venue, and compliance with any local laws or licenses. Every application is reviewed by our trust & safety team before a host can publish sessions.
3. Payments and fees
Paid sessions are processed through Stripe Connect. Gololu takes a 15% service fee on each paid booking; the remaining 85% is transferred to the host's connected Stripe account on the schedule Stripe provides. Refunds for cancellations made 24+ hours before the session start are automatic.
4. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Gololu to promote illegal activity, harass other users, spam, scrape data, or misrepresent your identity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Disclaimers
Gololu is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and shown in-app for 30 days before they take effect.
